Today I came across an interesting news. Yahoo is creating an Internet Time Capsule to teach the future generations how the world looked in 2006. Yahoo will accept contributions from October 10 to November 8.  Anybody from any part of the world can contribute personal photos, stories, thoughts, ideas, poems, home movies and art to this giant digital snapshot. Click here to see more information about the Yahoo Internet Time Capsule project. The website has terrific looking 3-D graphical interface and supports 10 languages.

However, when I checked the facts  on this site, I was surprised to see that only USA and Mexico are the major contributors so far. That is not a fair representation for big countries like India, China, Russia, UK, France, Germany, Japan and many countries in Africa. So to make the game fair, please tell your friends from different countries to contribute in this event. There are 10 languages supported - you can click on the change language option to select your desired language.

It is also interesting to note that women contribute almost two times as much as the men !!
