These days we see many contests and free giveaways increasing being used for linkbaiting. Such linkbaits are good for attracting traffic too. Today I came across a unique contest which caught my attention. The contest is about winning a coconut – straight from Hawaii !!  Here are some example entries .

I went through their rules and found out that I am not eligible for winning the coconut however – because I live in Japan. I wonder why they can send the coconut to UK which is so far from Hawaii and not to Japan which is so close to it.

PS: They have changed the rules now. They will send the coconut worldwide
