These days, it is a very tiring trial and error for me do great link baiting stuff. One of the reasons could depend highly on the people who knows how to recognize a good content for SEO. Another is that because it has been very easy to get links these days, people, SEOs, bloggers and so on do not resort anymore to linkbaiting tactics. The social media made everything easy.

So easy to say, so difficult to do. I am suffering from perpetual ignorance when it comes to promoting.

Each time, I get all fired up and ready to create major LINKBAIT, and then, ...... I freeze :(

My blog is more about funny flops as a webmaster than any actual talent. I guess that's why its Nerd in Progress :( Its going to take me another 100 years to do justice to this one article in action.

[...] Matt Cutts also talked about the new trends in Search Engine Marketing in recent years, stressing the shift from traditional marketing approaches to a more social and contextual medium. With this evolution, marketers with the best and most original ideas such as linkbaiting will see higher conversion rates as a result of their search engine marketing campaigns. Less desirable techniques such as affiliate spam and paid links are losing their importance with this evolution. [...]
