Google is celebrating its 8th birthday on 27th September with the delicous birthday cake logo shown above. It looks like that the birthday cake has only five candles. but Google’s Matt Cutts explains that it’s because they are the Roman numerals VIII to mean eight.

In just eight years, Google has transformed the search engine scenario, especially the way we search and find websites. Google made it possible for all sorts of websites to gain lots of visitors and potential customers just by ranking high on Google. The fact is, internet business would not work financially without the search engine visitors, and we have Google to thank for that. The most important secret of Google success is that the people who founded and who work at Google are incredibly, incredibly smart.
