
Google has silently launched a new ‘Search Sandbox’ (not to be confused with Google Sandbox) at SearchMash.com. The privacy policy and Whois records reveal that the site is owned and operated by Google. Â
It appears that Google will test new search engine features such as Ajax URL menus, integrated A9 style image search, and the ability for users to reorder their results.
Google just got the jump on everyone again, although no doubt they must be cursing whoever leaked the existence of the new interface this early.
