I agree that Anchor Text plays a key role in get you ranked for your targeted keyword. But there are more factor to be considered though.

As for my example – The use of anchor text has been proven a worthwhile change in the rankings.

But i advice all seo novice not to play with anchor text unknowingly and in a hurry. First decide/plan your step then go ahead.

Although, there are more effective ways to get ranked apart from anchor text.

Not all google bombs were diffused, though. Searching for dreamhost still takes you to the dreamhost sucks blog, which was a bomb too.

So I don’t think any generalizations can be drawn from the miserable failure bomb issue…just my 2 cents
